Spike Kohlbecker

Spike's Journey to USF2000

Racing karts at age four and a half, winning in karts at age five in 2008 and winning every year since.  Spike Kohlbecker knows how to win. A winner at local, regional and national levels of karting, Spike has continued his winning ways after transitioning to cars and now has his sights set on the Road to Indy.

Second place sucks.  Unless it is your first ever race in an F1600 and it happens to be at the Canadian Formula 1 Grand Prix.  Multiple series wins followed.

If you want to beat the best in F1600 racing, you go to the UK. Spike does, and he did. Claiming multiple wins at Brands Hatch and Silverstone proved Spike can win when under fire from the best.

Known as a training ground for future F1 stars, the Toyota F3 series in New Zealand was Spikes winter home in 2020.  Podiums, speed and knowledge gained in a high pressure environment.
